Spagetti Brulee

Its a dish that has gained popularity in Indonesia lately. Not sure how did it began or who was the first person who made it, suddenly almost all food selegram were posting it. 

In a glance I think its obvious why the name use "brulee". Whereas its nothing like the famous creme brulee, the burnt look does easily remind us to that dessert. So what is Spagetti Brulee, its basically spagetti bolognese top with cheese sauce and baked until the cheese sauce burnt. The burnt is necessary, not only for the look but also to keep the layer beneath moist. When the cheese sauce is burnt, it will formed a kind of superthin layer that keep the cheese sause and spagetti from getting dry.
So how to make it? Start with spagetti and your favourite sauce, I love bolognese that I usually make from scratch in a big batch
Its a 6 hours of labor😎 however its worthed every minutes, since the long process really make the sauce rich and delicious😋. Moreover it freezes beautifully, so just make a big batch and freeze the rest in portion
After you mix the spagetti/any pasta you like with the sauce, put it on the pan and top it with cheese sauce
Just make bechamel sauce and put any kind of grated cheese you like. Spread the cheese sauce evenly and generously on top of your pasta, then bake in the oven with top heat for about 20minutes or until the top look burnt. Voilla you get yourself spagetti brulee😊
